Hire Week · Build Your First AI Employee | Employees Built with AI
One week · 3 short build sessions · Registration open

Build your first AI employee this week.

A one-week bootcamp for operators who use AI but have never built anything with it. Three short build sessions. By the end you'll have one real AI employee handling a job in your business, in your voice. It starts free, with the Day 0 workshop.

Taught by Chris Jarski, a CPA and non-techy entrepreneur who builds AI employees every day.

01 ·The promise

One week.
One AI employee, working.

Most "learn AI" things leave you with notes and good intentions. This one leaves you with something built. You pick a real job in your business, and by the last session it's running, in your voice, without you doing it by hand.

It's the on-ramp to the full cohort. Start here, build one, then decide if you want the whole team.

What you walk out with
Your first AI employee
Built and running on a real job you chose
1
Your Hand-Off List
The work you'll never do by hand again
2
Your Onboarding Brief

3

It doesn't stop at one.

You'll build your first one this week. Across the whole business, here's the kind of team operators build with AI employees, one hire at a time. Hover or tap a card to meet the employees.

02 ·The week

A free workshop,
then three short build sessions.

Every session you build something real. We open each one where you get stuck, then we get you past it. Light on time, heavy on output.

Day 0Freemin

The free workshop

"I use AI, but I've never actually built anything with it."

See the four-rung ladder from asking questions to running real work, watch an AI employee get built live, and pick the first job you'd hand off. This is the same free workshop that opens the week.

You leave with: your first build target
Session 1min

Decide + brief

"I never actually decided what I'd stop doing by hand."

You build your Hand-Off List using one question: would I hand this to a new hire? Then you write your first Onboarding Brief for the one job you're turning into an AI employee this week.

You keep: Hand-Off List + Onboarding Brief
Session 2min

Build it

"My prompts disappear and I start from scratch every time."

You set up your default tool (and a one-line rule for the rest, so you stop tool-hopping), then you build your first AI employee: a project that remembers your context and does the job in your voice.

You keep: your first AI employee, built
Session 3min

Put it to work + stack your leverage

"I built one. Now I can see ten more jobs I'd hand off."

You run your new AI employee on real work to lock it in, then install the operator's quiet stack: the capture tools that turn your everyday work into the raw material your next builds run on. This is the leverage that makes building a whole team realistic instead of exhausting. You leave seeing exactly how one employee becomes a workforce.

You keep: it running + the leverage to build the rest
03 ·Why this works when courses didn't

Stop engineering prompts.
Start onboarding.

Here's the shift the whole week runs on, and it's the opposite of what most AI training teaches.

What most courses teach

Write a better prompt.

Memorize formulas, stack modifiers, tweak wording until something useful comes out. You get a little better at asking, and you're still starting over every session.

What you'll do here

Onboard a new hire.

You don't engineer a prompt for a new teammate. You tell them the job, show them what good looks like, and correct them when they're off. You'll build the same way. That's why what you build sounds like you, not like AI.

By Friday, you can actually do this
  • Build a Hand-Off ListDecide what to stop doing by hand, with one question.
  • Write an Onboarding BriefTeach the AI the job the way you'd teach a new hire.
  • Set up your default toolStop tool-hopping and starting over every session.
  • Build a project in your voiceIt remembers your context and does the job your way.
  • Install the quiet stackCapture your work so the next builds get easier.

You build one this week.
You'll leave seeing the next ten.

04 ·Who's teaching this

Taught by Chris.

Chris Jarski

I'm a CPA and a former CFO, and I built and sold a company before this. I'm not a tech expert, and I don't pretend to be. I'm an operator who got tired of being the bottleneck in my own businesses and learned to build my way out of it.

Today I run Start Day One, where we build AI employee automations for small and mid-market businesses. Employees Built with AI is the done-with-you version, and Hire Week is the front door. You build alongside me, in plain language, and you walk out with something real.

HOW I SHOW UP

You don’t figure this out alone.

I’m a CPA and former CFO. I built a company, sold it, and spent years in the weeds of operations. I’m not a developer. When I started building AI employees, I had no shortcuts — I just figured out what actually works for small business operators. That’s what I teach.

Every week we build together live. I share my screen, build in plain language, and explain every decision as I make it. You follow along, build your own version, and ask questions in real time. Everything is recorded, so you never fall behind. You’re not watching polished tutorials — you’re watching me work.

When you get stuck, you bring it to office hours. We look at your specific business, your specific workflow, and work through it together. You also have a community of operators doing exactly what you’re doing — different industries, same problems. That room is worth as much as anything I teach.

Don’t take my word for it — here’s what operators who’ve been through it say.

05 ·The honest part

What's probably
in your way.

"I'm not technical enough."

That's exactly who this is built for. Building an AI employee is a communication skill, not a coding skill. If you can brief a new hire, you can do this. No code, the whole week.

"I don't have the time."

It's three short sessions across one week, plus a 45-minute free workshop. Lighter than the time you're already losing to the work you'll hand off. And it's all recorded if you miss one.

"Why pay when the workshop's free?"

The free workshop shows you one get built. Hire Week is where you build yours, with help, and walk out with it working. The workshop is the demo. This is the doing.

"Will it work for my business?"

You build for a real job in your business, not a generic example, so you leave with something you'll actually use. If you don't, that's what the guarantee is for.

Build it, or it's free.

I'm a CPA, and I don't put my name on a promise I can't keep. Show up to the sessions, do the build, and if you don't walk out with a working AI employee, you get your money back.

07 ·Where it goes next

Hire Week is one employee.
The cohort is the team.

No pressure to decide now. But here's the honest version, so you know where this leads.

You're here

Hire Week

You build one AI employee for one job, and you prove to yourself that building is something you can do. It runs when you open it, and it works for you.

08 ·Questions

Quick answers.

How much time does it take?+
The free Day 0 workshop is about 45 minutes. Then three build sessions of roughly 60 minutes across the week, plus a little build time on your own. That's it. Everything's recorded if you miss one.
Do I need anything before I start?+
A Claude account (we'll cover the setup) and a real job in your business you'd love to stop doing by hand. No coding tools, no technical setup.
What if I'm really not technical?+
Then you're the person this is for. I'm a CPA, not an engineer. If you can explain a task to a new hire, you can build an AI employee. That's the whole skill, and it's the only one you need here.
Do I have to join the cohort after?+
No. Hire Week stands on its own, and plenty of people stop here happy with one AI employee handling a real job. If you do go on to the cohort, what you paid for Hire Week comes off the price.
Do I need to do the free workshop first?+
It's the first day of the week, so yes, it's where you'll start, and it's free. If you already know you want in, you can register now and the workshop is included.
